RAF Waddington Airshow Display

A Sentry crewed by No. 8 Squadron personnel took part in this weekend's RAF Waddington International Air Show, instead of the usual flypast a full display was flown to demonstrate and present an unusual view of the aircraft.  Flying behind the Sentinel the Sentry continued with its display starting the flying programme on both days.  The display was unusual as the aircraft was flown up to a maximum 45° angle of bank, well above the normal operating limit of 30°.  Captained by Flt Lt Tim Pearson, the crew spent many hours developing and practicing the routine to present the aircraft in all of its majesty.
