No 8 Squadron Association has been formed to perpetuate the comradeship and spirit that has always existed on our Squadron. Anyone who has served or is serving with the Squadron, in whatever rank, is eligible to join the Association. The Association is administered by a committee whose members, as at 1st November 2006, are as follows:

The Association publishes a Newsletter on a regular basis (currently twice a year) and organises the reunions (usually early May). HM Treasury rules dictate that we are to be self-financing and therefore the Committee has set up an initial membership fee of Ł10:00. This covers both the cost of joining and membership for the first year. Thereafter, annual subscriptions are Ł5:00, collected by standing order on 8th February. Subscriptions cover the production of the Newsletter and general administration charges, and are also used to defray expenses at the reunion. In previous years, No 8 Squadron has contributed to the costs of the weekend.

Please complete the application form, this will be passed directly to the Hon Secretary. Also, please print and complete the standing order form and send it to your bank/building society. Thank you.

New Association Members Welcomed

If you are a former member of the Squadron (aircrew or ground crew), you are most welcome to join the Association. The Association is looking to expand its membership and would be pleased to hear of any other entitled personnel who you may know of. In the first instance, please let the Hon Secretary have their details or ask them to write to the Secretary, at the address below. All information held on Association members is subject to the Data Protection Act, 1984.
